Summary pending.

Left: About a third of the way to Lincoln. Of course I'd stop for a stretch and a view of the Roberts Co. courthouse in Sisseton, SD. Right: After a late evening I head to Old Chicago in historic Lincoln Haymarket with old NU meteorology pals James McCormick and Matt Densberger.

Left: The snow is really starting to wind up as we make our way back to the car. Right: Historic Haymarket landmark. Notice the rather large flakes falling at this time.

Left and Right: I'm driving through downtown Lincoln shooting photos through the windshield. Can't be any worse than talking on a cell phone right? Vistors from Florida should keep both hands on the wheel. Note the slush starting to build up on 14th St in the image on the right . Visibility is around one-third mile at this time.

Left: A motorist fails to notice that you must turn right or left at the intersection. She is in on the sidewalk at Centennial and K. Right: Superior Street near the I-80 exit: What color is that light? When in doubt, guess red.

The University of Nebraska campus is closed for the day.

Left: The Nebraska Capital building is barely visible from a few blocks away. Visibility is less than one quarter mile at this time. Right: Snow has eneded by the following morning but everything is caked after a snowy night.
