This was not really a chase but an opportunity to stop and watch a truely spectacular sunset on Buffalo Lake. I left Grand Forks, ND in the middle afternoon and could see the anvil tops of storms to the southeast over 200 miles away. I was heading to the in-laws in Delano, MN and thought I might catch up to the storms just in time for sunset. That is exactly what I did.
