Columbus - Lincoln, NE April 18, 2004
This was a rather irritating day. My chase target was Wayne,
NE but in the interest of time James and I settled for hanging
out in Columbus, NE which was further south. Sure enough my initial target area
was inundated with warnings including a spotted
tornado. The lesson learned was make sure you have enough time to chase or consider
getting other priorities/chores done first.
The day was not without convection, but first we had to eat dirt...
