Item: You are bidding on one of the largest Minnesota Twins collections ever offered on eBay. There are approximately 1200 different Topps Twins cards from 1961-2007 in this lot. I have been putting together a master Topps Twins team set for the last couple years. This master set included multi-player rookie cards, league leaders, All-Star cards, checklists, and what ever other card had a Twin on it. This is what your are bidding on. I have a tendency to be picky on card condition and this collection reflects my nature. Nearly all the cards are centered very nicely. Most of the older cards are NRMT, some are NrMT-MT, a few probably MINT, and there are going to be some EXMT+ sliders with solid eye appeal. The newer cards are generally NrMT-MT to MINT and no doubt some Gem Mint cards too. I am not a liberal grader like many others out there. I have sent cards to BGS and understand condition well. I follow PSA/BGS grading criteria when judging a card's condition. I you don't believe me, I have provided huge scans so you can see the condition of the cards and judge for yourself.. Not every card is scanned but I have provided examples from every set. Why am I getting rid of this wonderful collection? There are a few reasons. The primary reason is I have lost the motivation to complete the full run of team sets. This is partially the result of an increasing number of vintage card sellers on eBay severely overgrading the cards they sell. Not much is more frustrating in the card collecting world than getting the card in the mail you need advertised in NRMT-MT only to be plucked out of the mailer in EXMT at best and usually worse. Many of these cards were purchased raw several times until I was satisfied with the general condition of the card. Another reason is the cost of the remaining cards on my checklist is high. While I made a huge start, if I wanted to complete the run I would likely have to invest in professionally graded cards since I no longer trust the raw market on eBay, particularly when I would be dealing with some high dollar short prints, rookies, and even some commons.

TWINS FEST IS FAST APPROACHING. Get this monster batch of Twins cards now! Huge resale value, solid grading potential.

Scans of many cards are provided below. Here is what you get from oldest to newest:

Eight cards all in the scan. All in solid NRMT condition.
None. I never got around to this condition sensitive set.
Four different including the team checklist and a sharp Jim Kaat card.
Eight NRMT cards in the scan including Jim Perry and Tony Oliva.
You get 19 very sharp cards. I'll call them NRMT+ to NRMT-MT. Some look very capable of being in a PSA 8 holder. You get most of the team set minus the mid-series cards.
A total of 11 different cards. Well centered for the year.
Nine cards including Oliva. One of the tougher years to aquire cards in nice shape.
Wow! Nearly the complete team set in NRMT+ to NRMT-MT shape. A few of these might even be Mint. Mainly missing the Carew card. This batch also includes the All-Star cards of Carew, Killebrew, and Oliva. You also get two Killebrew league leaders cards w/Carl Yastrzemski.
Fourteen cards including a very nice Carew and Kaat.
The base team set is complete and in very solid condition. The Carew card looks like it would easily slide into a PSA 8 holder. Also included are two Killebrew and one Carew leaders cards. The two Killebrew leaders cards also feature Reggie Jackson. The only cards missing for the master set are leaders card #70 and the SP rookie #702.
The "Black Beauty" set. You get most of the team set including Rod Carew and Harmon Killebrew. Missing the Blyleven rookie and four hi-series cards. Does include the three leaders cards featuring Twins. All cards from this set have NRMT eye appeal but some would probably grade a notch lower than a 7.
Close to completion. Just missing #302 Mitterwald IA, #501 Pete Hamm, #611 Rich Reese, #695 Rod Carew, and #710 Kaat IA. This is my favorite Topps set and I mas the most picky on condition here. These cards are all very sharp and would receive high grades via your favorite slabbing service.
Complete team set w/leaders and blue team checklist. A general NRMT condition set.
Complete NRMT team set but missing the red team checklist.
 Complete team set. Beautiful cards.
Complete base team set. Missing 4-panel rookie #597.
Complete base team set. Missing #8 Firemen card. A couple cards could be upgraded otherwise nice.
Complete base team set. Missing leaders #201 and #205. Also missing 4-panel rookies #704 (Lou Whitaker).
Complete and generally well-centered given the year.
-2006: Complete! Includes all leaders, multi-panel rookies, prospects, etc. Also includes all Topps Traded/Update set cards. The only two cards missing I am aware of are the SPs from the 2002 Topps Traded set.
 Complete series 1 set.
